Making disciples that change their world.

What To Expect

When you enter our parking lot you will find
designated spaces for newcomers. Our main
entrance is at the center of the parking lot.
Upon entering the building, you will be greeted
by volunteers who will welcome you, hand you a
program and be available to point you in the right
direction to the auditorium, rest rooms or nursery.
The auditorium will be bright and alive with upbeat
music and attenders greeting each other with smiles
and handshakes.  Some will be dressed casually
(jeans and polo shirt); some will dress more
formally (coat and tie).  You may wear what makes
you feel comfortable.

The service begins with a unison reading of a
short Bible verse printed in the program. Several
celebration songs will then be sung by all, including
familiar hymns and newer choruses.  You will be
formally welcomed by the pastor and encouraged
to meet new friends at the close of the service.
A Connection Card in the program will allow
you to give us information about yourself, forward
prayer needs to our prayer ministry, tell us of
spiritual decision you desire to make and
even evaluate our time of worship.

Pastor Cowan will have a Bible and a Basket
(object lesson) with the children allowing them
to feel a part of the service as well.  Our time
of prayer for others is led by a deacon.  A second
set of songs will then be sung by the congregation
and occasionally, we will have a solo, duet or some
other special presentation of music.  Pastor Cowan
will bring a message from the Bible designed
to be engaging, informative and applicable to life on
Monday.  You may follow along in a pew Bible
(page numbers are provided) and make use of a study
guide in the program.

At the end of each message there will be an
instrumental song of decision allowing you time
to talk with God about what you have seen and heard.
At the end of the service we receive our offerings
for God and give some brief announcements.
Don't be surprised if someone introduces
themselves to you and makes you feel at home.
